Maca (Lepidium meyenii), sometimes called Peruvian ginseng, grows high in the Andes of Peru. Black maca is one of its rarest varieties: the root gets its purple-black colour from a high anthocyanin content.
Traditionally linked with male vitality, black maca is regarded as a strengthening adaptogen, especially for men.

Ingredients & Directions
One vegetarian capsule provides:
- Lepidium meyenii (Black Maca) root powder: 500 mg
Other ingredients: Vegetarian capsule, microcrystalline cellulose and natural flow agent.
Directions: Take 1 to 6 capsules daily with water on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal, or as directed by your healthcare provider. You can split the dose, ideally between morning and midday.
